 Holidays and weight gain - or lose? You choose!  (by Sylvia)

So Thanksgiving was what I would call a plush meal. Yum, yum! The leftovers have sustained us for quite a while, too. Thankfully, the pies were eaten with 24 hours! But that still left stuffing, mashed potatoes, and that rare treat - GRAVY! And believe me, the stuffing and mashed potatoes were the high-calorie, high-fat kind! Yum! In spite of all that, I had the courage to jump on the scales two morning ago! Two pounds down! I decided Monday, to watch my "p"s and "q"s (or my peas and gravy) and followed the Cinch program below, and I was amazed! So like a 12 step program, I will take this "One day at a time". I know there will be days from now until new years, that I can't follow that, and won't WANT to follow that. But there are plenty of days when I can. So hopefully, I will begin the new year a little smaller than I am right now.
